Sean Wotherspoon Zellerfeld Shoe 2025

After taking a 1.5 year pause since releasing his last footwear project, Sean Wotherspoon is stepping back into the spotlight with his very own 3D-printed Zellerfeld designs. The SEAN DOUBLE U collection is comprised of two silhouettes – a mule and a sneaker – and is available now via zellerfeld.com.

If you aren’t familiar with Zellerfeld, you’re about to be. Founded in 2015 in Hamburg, Germany, the company is aiming to revolutionize the footwear industry with 3D-printed models that can be fully customized to the shape of your foot. Several renowned designers/brands have developed their own Zellerfeld shoes thus far, including Heron Preston, Jeff Staple, and now, Sean Wotherspoon. The company also has a budding relationship with Nike and its subsidiary RTFKT, with the two parties collaborating to create the Air Max 1000 (which still has a TBD release date).

“SEAN DOUBLE U is about the different sides we all have,” says Wotherspoon. “The sneaker is for motion. The mule is for slowing down. I wanted pieces that move with every version of you. Zellerfeld gave me a level of freedom I have never had before, no factories, no waiting, no ceilings on creativity or my imagination.”

The SEAN DOUBLE U collection is available now via Zellerfeld, priced at $189 for the sneaker and $149 for the mule (not bad considering most Zellerfeld shoes go for $200+). Both silhouettes are available in all core Zellerfeld colors, including tan, red, orange, blue, and black. See official images below if you’re considering copping.
